Rimmel Scandaleyes vs Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam

Hey Guys!

I love Rimmel mascaras so much,so I thought I'd tell you about my two favourites and which one I like more.

Retro Glam        Scandaleyes

I love the bold packaging and chunky shape of the Scandalyse range. It looks fun and makes you want to use it. Both of these mascaras retail at £6.99 from boots and they last for ages which is a bonus.

This is what the brush looks like for the Rimmel Scandaleyes which is the Orange tube. As you can see this brush takes in alot of product and the is quite full and thick, which gives your lashes full volume after just a couple of coats, but be careful as this mascara can get quite clumpy if you use too much.

This next brush is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam. This brush has an hourglass shape to help fan out the lashes in the right place. I find the application of this mascara more difficult than the other one. For me,this mascara definitely defines the lashes but gives less volume. I would only use this in the day as at night I prefer a more obvious lash.

Rimmel Scandaleyes

Application: The application of this mascara is simple and effortless. It takes only a couple of coats for the full effect and full volume. 4/5

Volume: This masacara gives such a good volume and can be built up for night or left with only a couple of coats for the day. 5/5

Clumps: This mascara is designed for full volume which can cause clumps,as long as you don't apply coats and coats of it you should be okay. 3/5

Fallout: I have wore this out at night and when I got hope I noticed slight fall out but nothing too noticeable. 4/5

Packaging: I like the bold orange colour of this package but apart from that it's not very exciting. 3/5

Rimmel Scandalyse Retro Glam

Application: I found that when apply this it was slightly difficult and I had to use alot for the mascara to be noticeable. 2/5

Volume: This mascara was not Voluminous and cannot be built up for a more dramatic look. 0/5

Clumps: This mascara does not leave any clumps and fans out the lashes for quite a defined look. 5/5

Fallout: I haven't wore this mascara at night but I do wear it to school and there is never any fallout. 5/5

Packaging: The packaging is my favourite thing about this mascara. I love the contrast of black and white as it really stands out. 5/5

And the winner is Rimmel Scandaleyes original!

I hope you enjoyed this post, don't forget to comment and follow!
